Our Sustainability Report is prepared in accordance with the 2021 GRI Standards, the Sector Standard for Coal: GRI 12 and the metrics of the SASB Standard - Coal Operations, as a commitment to communicating how we manage relevant ESG issues.

We are Drummond Ltd. We began our mining operations in Colombia in 1987 and are currently a leading private company in the exploration, production, transportation and export of coal in the country.

Our operation takes place in the municipalities of Agustín Codazzi, Becerril, Chiriguaná, El Paso and La Jagua de Ibirico, in the department of Cesar, and in the municipality of Ciénaga, in the department of Magdalena.

Despite challenging circumstances, with low prices on the international coal market and rising operating costs in Colombia, we achieved outstanding results thanks to the coordinated efforts of all our employees and the implementation of a corporate strategy focused on efficiency.

We continue to operate with high standards in the mining, transportation and shipment of coal, which has allowed us to maintain a lean cost structure, provide high-quality steam coal, and resolutely pursue our social, environmental and governance goals.

Our value cycle begins with feasibility studies, in which we evaluate the technical, economic, environmental and social viability of our projects. Each phase is supported by responsible management that incorporates environmental, cultural and safety measures, in order to protect biodiversity, minimize impacts and ensure efficient operations. By doing so, we guarantee environmental protection, employee well-being and progress for the communities in our area of influence.

Our corporate and sustainable development strategy is based on the integration of ESG criteria in the production of high-quality steam coal. We evaluate each stage of the operation in three key dimensions: economic, social and environmental. With safe processes, competitive products and high-quality coal, we generate value for our stakeholders while protecting life, the environment and the well-being of the nearby communities.

Our human talent remains the backbone of what we do and a reflection of our commitment to the regions where we operate. We foster an organizational culture based on safety, mutual care, inclusion and lifelong learning, which encourages us to grow together and achieve common goals.

Our commitment to sustainability contributes to the well-being of stakeholders and the protection of the environment. In 2024, the Strategic Committee held 40 sessions, strengthening ESG management and monitoring processes with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility. Our senior management team ensures that decisions are aligned with our commitments and generate positive impacts.
